The exhibition, which runs on December 10-13, is displaying handicraft products such as songket, batik, coffee filtering equipment, painting, souvenirs, jewelry, and ceramic art.
It also displays the creations of persons with disabilities, among them the cushion wallet from Budi Asih school for the disabled, locally known as sekolah luar biasa (SLB), and the making of recycled coffee filters from SLBN 6 Jakarta.
Anies Wants Better Economic Growth Next YearAnies appreciated the creativity and innovation presented by artisans assisted by coaching craftsmen under Jakarta Handicraft Council (Deskranasda).
"We feel the creativity and novelty that are endless. Which is why we have to facilitate them, as they will be the front guard thus their products can be felt by the wider community," he expressed, Monday (12/10).
According to him, Deskranasda has a big contribution to fostering and facilitating craftsmen in Jakarta to be more developed, and its works are increasingly quality, in demand, and widely known.
"Thanks to Dekranasda has consistently helpful. The products have added value, thus the businessmen or craftsmen can improve welfare," he stated.
